Driven by a commitment to serving his community, Kevin founded BioPest Elimination in 2020. A lifelong resident of the Henderson and Las Vegas area, Kevin has a unique understanding of the local environment and the pest pressures faced by homeowners and businesses. His interest in pest control began at the age of 18 while working at a major home improvement retailer in Henderson, where he discovered a passion for helping customers identify and resolve their pest problems. This experience laid the foundation for a career that included working with one of the nation's largest commercial pest control companies as well as a respected family-owned business. These experiences provided invaluable insights into both large-scale commercial pest management and personalized residential service. Today, BioPest Elimination proudly serves residential, government, and commercial clients in Las Vegas, Henderson, and Boulder City, offering expert pest control solutions tailored to the specific needs of the region.

Roof Rats
Effective rodent control requires a thorough understanding of rodent behavior and entry points. In the Las Vegas Valley, roof rats are the most common species encountered, followed by Norway rats. These adaptable omnivores can infest various areas of a property, from roofs and trees to attics and garages. BioPest Elimination utilizes a comprehensive approach to rodent management, including detailed inspections to identify entry points and conducive conditions. In a recent service call, we addressed a rat infestation (photo) in a customer's garage. Our inspection revealed that the rodents were entering through a difficult to see crack in the concrete beneath an exterior vent. By implementing exclusion measures to seal this entry point and conducting targeted removal services, we resolved the infestation and provided the customer with long-term protection against future rodent problems.
Scorpion Round Up
Scorpions are a common concern for residents of Las Vegas and Henderson, with certain areas experiencing higher concentrations than others. The Arizona bark scorpion is a particularly prevalent species in this region. This image depicts a collection of several of these scorpions captured in Henderson near US-95 and College Drive. Scorpions are nocturnal and possess a unique characteristic: their exoskeletons fluoresce under ultraviolet light, allowing for easier detection during nighttime inspections. While this characteristic simplifies location, safe handling requires specialized equipment. BioPest Elimination employs professional-grade products and techniques for safe and effective scorpion abatement. We recommend regular property inspections and removal efforts, particularly during warmer months. However, for comprehensive scorpion control and prevention of indoor intrusions, professional pest management services are highly recommended.
Bed Bugs

The photograph shows a substantial accumulation of bed bug castings, providing visual evidence of a significant infestation encountered at a client's property. Additional signs of bed bug activity include fecal spotting, bloodstains on bedding, and bite marks. Complete eradication often requires multiple treatments due to their complex life cycle and resistance. While scientific evidence indicates that bed bugs are not disease vectors, their presence can cause significant anxiety and discomfort.
